I am also usually in A and got a HL for this. It is a complete mess up. So many people I know have got HL as well. Seems like 80% of the race is back in HL this year.

 

Time for another national seeding system.

 

This is actually the second race since August that seeding has been a mess up. Carousel also messed up seeding.

I know when I did the race last time had the same issue. They informed me that they only look at last three months results and seed according to this.

The were willing to push me up to B but not more while I normally race VA now VB. That is concequence of not having seeding races in Free State.

 

But did quite well in B bunch and had a nice race.

But it is still extremely stupid! Surely being an Argus seeding race they should at least look at Argus results. Seems like this is another race to start giving a miss. Especially since they have cut out the section in Suikerbosrand.

 

If so many faster guys are in the lower groups you are going to end up with big bunches as they catch more and more slower guys who will just hang onto the back.

With all these strong riders at the back with me I expect someone to help push me up a climb or two... Look for the short "ou vrou" on a bike that is clearly muuuuuuuch too good fer her ;-)

It seems as if registration is gonna be a very busy place... everybody fighting to get re-seeded. If everyone gets their way, there won't be many strong riders pushing the bus from behind
