do able! perfectly fine on a 100mm HT taking B-lines!

heck even A-lines... if you're smooth

I am definitely not smoof...unless I am wearing my captain suite, but it won't work at that event...If I had to do it, it will be B lines all the way

Damn straight i live in my lycra. No jokes

Top 10 finish at Sani and sub 5min race run of cascades... you're allowed to wear some lycra now and again. Just not in front of me, please :P

Ja, wouldn't know to be honest....I take it the Thaba b-route isn't??

Depends... if you want to win... then it's pedally...

but if you just want to get to the bottom... you could basically freewheel all the way. So no, not like Mankele where there are difinite "climbs".

why the hell not

...but seriously... disciplines like enduro and DH will never grow if those involved in other varients don't get to give it a whirl.

So baggies, lycra, jeans, speedo... 20",26", 29", 27.5"... doesn't matter!

just note that speedos offer very little crash and UV protection

i will put my 29" in my speedo.

race is cancelled by the way

I'm still keen to ride tomorrow. Not so much DH but rather just an AM ride from the start of the trails to the track and then session a bit and ride back.

Any takers?

Coming up to the Virgin Active this morning, two oldish guys (who were in full lycra and on hardtails) and who obviously were resting up after negotiating the very treacherous crossing of Rustenburg Road, piped up as we passed them "There go the River Rats".

I almost fell off my bike laughing.

:D
