hmmm. I think you have to set some goals to make this interesting. cos cycling around sa but sticking to good roads has been done many times. how about cycling around south africa but no further than 50km from the border or the coastline?

 

my mate walked it 2 years ago and he said that it was pretty awesome. lonely in the northern cape tho.

 

Are you going to do it in stages or all in one go?

You know what would be cool, cycling to every spur(dros\primi) in the country. It would be a classic salesman's dilemma doing the route choice

My route has always followed main roads, more for my safety.

I always have deadlines to reach my destination, cycling Event.

My travels dont follow the borders.
