It is something I am getting increasingly more and more passionate about, and unfortunately there is nothing you can do but raise awareness. Theoretically the police should check the cellphone for date and time stamps of sms/whats apps/ calls etc and that will very quickly determine if it is a criminal case or not.. An accident is something unforseeable and unavoidable. Testing while driving, drunk driving, speeding, reckless and selfish behaviour DO NOT constitute the makings of an accident - they constitute intentional negligent behaviour and should carry an extremely stiff penalty - nothing less than 20 years if a person is killed. I hope the driver never has a peaceful nights sleep ever again as long as she lives. May her life be forever shrouded in guilt.
