Sleeping in Oudtshoorn tonight , arrived here at 7pm will be driving through early tomorrow morning. It's bone dry here, suppose the wet weather is still on its way here. Any news from the guys staying in De Hoek?

Good luck, I'll hold thumbs for you all!

It is pissing down in C Town and looks like there isn't going to be an end to the rain, although the weatherman reckons it'll clear up by Sunday.

thanks Djr, I suppose this is the only way to get out & ride is by entering a race then I feel compelled. If I was in CPT I would be on the couch for sure.

We had 50mm of rain in 40 mins at our farm just south of the Gamka Kloof this afternoon. I bridge we built 7 years ago and has never been threatened, washed away an hour later.........

I really wish I was there. Good luck guys.

Started pissing down in De Hoek late last night. Was still raining this morning at start. Decided to have a warm shower, pack up, have breakfast in Oudtshoorn and drive back home. Not many people started this morning. I hope they enjoy it but I am happy to be back home under a warm duvet on my couch

Never good. Sorry mate. I wonder wether my W2W partner started. He did the muddy Adventure so he has trained for this weather.

Not to sure on all the results but Matthew Beers won the event. This youngster is a beast and only took to mountain biking this year and is a Science to Sport athlete being coached by John. He's been giving many Pro's a hard time at races.
