XC / Enduro rated. XC for their weight, Enduro for their strength and width.

http://www.pinkbike....-Wide-Rims.html

Considered Spank Oozy, I9, Mavic Enduro, AMC All Mountain like I had on the SL-R or complete custom. Wheels will be the last piece of the puzzle that falls into place. Still have until next week Thu to change my mind 37.3 times per day!

Sweet... Lok forward to seeing them! But yeah, it's a great philosophy. Really logical.

Wheelset:..AM Classic Wide Lightning

Interesting choice given that they're an "XC" rim according to AC, but I like the rim itself... 32mm wide. 28mm internal... will suit those HD's very nicely.

Also considered these from evobikes.co.za

Was considered. Too scared to pick up the phone and get a quote.

I did, local Enve agents quoted R7150, per rim! they may then wonder why they do not have a long and prosperous business to look forward to, they do not have stock, were unashamed of the price, but I have no doubt they will be first in line to b1tch about local consumers going abroad, vote, wallet I say.

Don't be afraid of a little colour on the "easy to replace" parts like the grips Crow!

Have a good doze of zef in me, so don't worry about that!

Sorry for the Hijack here but where do you get the Ibis frames?

In Cape Town: Cycle Factory (can and do ship anywhere)

In Gauteng: Mike's Bikes

Full retail is around R30k for frame, shock, rear maxle and chainstay protector. Cycle Factory will do you a deal, though.

Jiissus Crow, I haven't even finished drooling about your last build, and now you start it all over again. I'm going to get dehydrated at the rate you're going about it!

Flip Iwan, that bike looks damn nice. and I'm thinking even better in living colour.

And I'd go zeff on the accessories as well.
