Hey so what pads you guys use with your Hopes?

Sintered, Organic/Kevlar, semi sintered?

Are the factory stock hope pads on the tech x2 sintered?

Heard a tip that you use one sintered one organic pad per caliper - best of both worlds, anyone try that?

 

Anyone order pads from superstar components?

I'm thinking of selling these bad boys if anyone is interested. R3500 including the hope floating rotors. They are Hope V2's with the Tech lever. I've not seen the V2 on another bike in SA.

 

I have cut the hose to fit my bike so you might have to get a new hose for the rear.

Those aren't the tech 3 lever. That's the race lever.

That's not the tech 3 lever, Kosmo... that's the Tech Stealth lever. Tech 3 lever looks like an older Tektro lever with the reservoir on top a la...

Stealth just refers to Black.

There's 2 versions of the original Tech lever. The Tech and the Tech EVO. Visually they look almost identical.

 

The Tech 3 lever is the guy you posted up.

 

There's also the Race lever which is what Crow is running on his X2's

It seems the new Tech 3 'grew' out of the Race series? And Mono Minis were the same format
