i'm seriously thinking of doing this with my trek 130mm of travel bike... haha!! will be a first.

Don't worry about the travel! If it's anything like the last ones, you could do it on a hardtail with NO travel!

Okay cool,

 

whats to expect? from what i understand everyone will be riding blind (i.e cannot ride there in advance).. Should i be training? at gspot... HAHA!! will there be any climbing involved, or is it more like DH2, Vasbyt, Mamba stuff out at tokai?

oooooh, there'll be climbing!

 

Probably like your average day out at Tokai, but more fun cos of the atmosphere and the thrill of racing. Climbing to the trail heads, riding, chatting, etc...

lots of mamba at speed will help because most of the enduro routes will not go straight down like DH1,2 etc. but ride anything and everything, and ride alot. Give your bike a proper shakedown so you get to know her properly.
