I just love the way it was said on the news last night that McBride was the most qualified for the position!

50 Million people in RSA and he is the only one fit for the job....

Theres a saying, to catch a crook, you must think like one. In SA, we go one better, we get the crooks to "catch" the crooks.

He does not have any formal qualification in law enforcement, so except for politically connected, i don't know what qualifications they speak of. His actions as Ekurhleni Metro chief resembled someone who watched too many Rambo movies.

On the other hand, he has lots of experience in legal cases involving murder, corruption, mayhem and drunken driving, mostly his own. Perhaps it is good to use a crook to catch the crooks? At least he'll not leave a single corrupt policeman with the "wrong" political connections get away with his crimes. ;)

Bomber McBride's appointment confirmation is expected within 30 days, the IPID's investigation into Phiyega will take 90 days. Coincidence? I think not.

We way as well consider 783's inept golden girl cleared of all charges.

One of the most disappointing recent issues was that of Cyril Ramaphosa singing the praises of Zuma and his merry bunch of thieves. This was a man that I used to have a high level of respect for, but now I fear that there are no longer any bastions of hope within this barrel of rotten apples.

Those of you who remember Magoo's will recall that it was a student and young peoples hangout, most of whom did not support the apartheid government of the time. The victims included 2 girls of Indian origins who innocently became victims of a cowardly belly crawling snake. What a pity that 1994 came too soon for this a......e to be executed as he should have been. That also includes the Wit Wolf who also has no place in society today.

A lot of people here are joking about this.

Its a sad day in SA if this goes forward!

No other country in the world, would implement such a disgraceful thing :cursing:

I don't know why anyone is suprised by this type of thing any more.

There are a group of protected elite who will do what they want, whenever they want, and will always get away with it and be promoted by their cronies in power.

Bomber Mcbride is one of them. There are many, many more waiting in the wings.

Accept it as your future, or rid yourself of it by using the one and only cure ~ a passport and a one way ticket.

Irrespective of his "qualifications", Bomber McBride remains a total douchebag!

Must be an easy line of study or the supermarket that sells these degrees/diplomas was having a special. Don't forget the last expose of a top cop whose academic qualifications were found to be fraudulent.

Remember Mcbride was an extremely brave freedom fighter - slithering into a Wimpy unaided, leaving a bomb there and slithering out again, leaving it to kill inocent woman and children.

Absolute Scum !!
