Give Leonard a call at Concept cycles. He builds carbon deep section wheels and it has a 2 year warrantee. I garauntee you hel be able to get you the set before the 94.7. www.conceptcycles-sa.com/ this guy always goes the extra mile

Remember I have a budget and the wheels must be here for the 94.7.

In that case I'd suggest having a look at the 94.7 expo.

Alternatively the new Cycle Lab Mega store might be an option (haven't been there though).

Don't know how many shops will have a variety of R10k wheels in stock.

So I am looking at Citec Wheels from Eldron, Zipp 101 from Solomons and waiting to find out from Chrasher if he sells those wheels.

Leonard doesn't have the 38mm in stock only the 50mm.

Before I buy from Darkhorse, Cencept Cycles or Citec I want to test drive those wheels. Citec has a set for me to test.

I think I am a bit to bulky for the SLX. I am 98kg.

eastons are bullet proof there no weight limit as far as i know. I have never had issues with mine even at my heavest when i was 100kg.

and i was riding the EC90 deep section..stiff and smooth easton or zipp would be my options.

Where did you get those wheels?

I want the wheels for 94.7 as my secret weapon.

They came from Wiggle, so I don't think the post office will deliver them by Sunday. Maybe next year

Sorry but Eastons do have a weight limit of 115kg

Ask to test the 50mm wheels. He's wheels are the wide tudorial design which handle better in cross winds. You'd have better performance and durability on the 50mm wheels than on 38mm

How about Zipp 101's or is it to pricey

I saw these freakin AWESOME 101 Zipps @ the Expo today for +/- R9,600 (not sure at what stand, but it was in the second row - I think...was NOT at Solomons or the normal bike shop stands)... they are on MY wishlist!!!
