Super_mil...

post some of your pics from your last weekend in KK...

those looked like awesome enduro-type trails!

*please post the "I'm on the phone" pic :D

The helmet would be a nice to have, but I need must have really want those damned forks!!!! :cursing:

I won't able to post them today as I've left my phone at home (I hope)...

Otherwise you can get them off QuickPix on FB.

Also, just to clear things up, is ENDURO not a racing format?

Trails, are well... just MTB trails

Black line that starts next to the 2nd Upper Upper canary.....post-4575-0-53758700-1385988762_thumb.png

Thanks, Pappa!

Sure that a mate and I rode the bottom section of that. May be wrong, but if it's the one with the multi-berms that are tighter than a nun during lent, well then... They were FUN!!!

I know there are other sections that are / were still being built though, so it may be another one I'm thinking of.

Yup that is the one....... bit more to the top it gets quite rocky and have some drops....... and then even further to the top a couple of big jumps and a "super tube section" with a wall ride or two incorporated as berms ........

I still need ALLOT of practise but it was fun non the less!!!!!

*your conscience wispers* Get the fork! Geeeet the Foooooork!!

Seriously though, you'll pay about that for new Boxxer R2C2's these days.

BTW, according to whatsapp you were lat seen at 07:37 this morning. Dunno if that helps you track your phones last location.

Anyway, pack to the topic...

pics of the Trailblazer trails (and yup, you're right, 'enduro' is a race format... so these are just cool trails)...

Sweet. Don't know if you noticed, but there's MORE!!!

Further up from the start of the DH trail section below the mahoooosive road gap that was on the National section. Apparently, that is.

Then there's more by the Flow trail. Don't know if that's still blocked off, but it looked funfunfun!

Oh - I had to take it slowly on that double black section. My knee was NOT happy and any big jumps would proabbly have pushed it too far. Can't wait to do it when it's better!!!

The "homeless" man you're referring to is action/adventure photographer Jacques Marais. http://jacquesmarais.co.za/

I was just trying to educate him as to who the guy in the pic is...

Well I've never actually seen his house, so you may be onto something. I think he may live out of his post man Pat(ches) van though.

That pic is definitely not him though as that guy is way too skinny. Patches seems to eat really well for a homeless guy.

Pappa Bear, Is that trail you drew in, on iRide Africa map about right? If so I will update it and put it online as I will only be riding it later this week. Can't wait!

I also have more of a T-shirt tan, and I'm only 16 so my facial hair is nowhere near as abundant as that

Is the trail safe to approach blind or would you recommend a walk up it first?
