Liked the event. Liked the organization, and the marshals. Liked the extra distance for VA/VB.

Liked the demon faces spraypaint to mark potholes and the "oh ****" spraypaint at certain places :w00t: but only after I got dropped

LOL, have to take "some" credit for this one.

We have just this morning decided - Full Road closure only - from now on for us.

After what happened to me on that narrow road I wander if it is worth it to ride some of the races. If you are not in a big bunch you are at risk of getting in all sorts of trouble.

Question to those of you that travelled on the N3, then took the N17 to Carnival City.

When you passed through the tollgate, the ones with the boom gates, were you charged a few bob or were the boom gates up?

We approached them to open the boom gates, just like 2013.

Not sure if they honoured our request, or used the opportunity to milk those coming through.

we got milked again. Did not see any gates open when we drove through.

HUGE respect for that guy!! One can only be inspired by someone like him! Well done dude.

I raced with him last year if its the same guy, but I was greeted with a bad attitude as was the whole group when greeting him. I had a lot more respect for the man in the hand cycle without any legs and his friendly attitude towards life.

Hi Gerald

My wife mentioned:

As you go under finish banner, you then cross the road, and ride on the left of the steel barrier,

At the end of this, where the gap is in the fence on the left, where you suppose to go through to get medal, at that point when I turned left, it was closed off in front of me, FORCING me left, when my wife came there 20min later the road ahead was open, not knowing she had to turn left to get some cool drink and medal she continued straight ahead, ending in the parking lot, with out medal... Causing a very tired wife to have to ride back to get it.

Maybe make sure/Cable/Chain the barriers together. Put someone there that directs people left, through the gate,

Also as previously mentioned, no one ever collected or indicated to us where we needed to hand in the lottery/lucky draw ticket.
