So here it is! Well almost, still waiting for a stem and the hubs, so got lent a wheel set and using an old stem. Still trying to dial in the suspension but from the short ride I did today this bike is awesome! Very fast, seems to roll over everything and take it all in its stride, very stable and just an awesome bike to ride. Will give some more feed back once I've done a few more rides!

That's a sweet ride. I almost bought the SB95. I loved the blue linkage/"switch" in the frame. It's like engineering porn

Single ring is definitely the way to go on a bike like this. You suffer a bit going up, but have no hassles coming down, or changing gears.

Not sure about your white bottle cage though :whistling:

The bottle cage position is far from perfect I know but don't really want to use a backpak for the short rides, will try find a black one though

when you say short, does it refer to rides under a hour?

if so theres no need to take a bottle...just train yourself off it for a bit and in no time one bottle will be enough even for a two hour ride.

Like an hour to hour and a half. I've always drunk a lot while riding no matter how hard I try just always have had to drink more the most people

Nice ride pin!

Try the Black burn cage on the bottom of the frame....You will never lose a bottle with one of those and you don't feel like you have been robbed either with respect to pricing.

Must remember to send you a pic tomorrow off the specific one.

  • 2 weeks later...

That bottle cage mount works really well for mounting a point of view camera.

I found I had to run the rear shock with a slightly higher pressure than I expected, as the suspension seams to soften up in the mid stroke.

Let us know if you have issues with the rear tire touching the seat tube in big G-outs.
