So the Adventure 1 Series is really hotting up hey...

Next race as the post above states in in the Cape.

A few top teams have lost out on big points and now have to score at the last 2 rounds of the event if they want any chance which means some teams along with the Kinetic Full Moon series will be racing 3 races between now and world champs.

Also a side note- only 2 or 3 out of the top 10 are not sponsored teams

Sounds like WCAD A1 was a great success, plenty route options and good racing all round, well done to Dekker and co

Definitely one of the best 24 hour races I have done.

37km of paddling was rough but it was also really fun paddling. Shooting weirs and low lying bridges and just enough flowing 'rough' sections to make the uphill sections bearable.

Well done Dekker, you put on an awesome race. Super stoked

i just went to the https://adventure1series.com/results/south-africa/ to see the results.

They're not there...

I then realised that I'm the one who probably has to submit them!

Ha ha, super stoked that all had fun, I do put quite a bit of thought into (most of) my checkpoints placings so nice to hear it is appreciated! The night time tracking worms are going to be interesting to see (once i get my real job stuff out the way)

On another note. . . . . . . .

Dekker are you sure we can't get you to teach the Kiwi's that a 7 man squad is the maximum number of competitors for the year not for 60% of the year that counts towards the points?

Feel like the NZ rugby team taught them how to interpret the rules?

I actually agree with their interpretation, so you're going to have to try someone else!

at least you're still top of the log

hahaha, just poking because I can, we actually gain from it letting certain members rest for World champs now and having nearly free reign of team choice for the last race...

On another note, I have entered Itera in Scotland with 3 friends for next year super stoked to be racing over seas again and the sleep monsters on Loch Ness are going to be epic!!!
