I got my hands on one for a very very good price to do just that... test the waters.... changed some of the components (ok most components :P)straight out the box and to be honest i WANT a proper fatty NOW even MORE than ever. The heaviest parts on this bike is the tyres and tubes. Tyres are about 2.7kgs each and the tubes almost 800gr each. Change the tyres to something much lighter and go tubeless and it wont be half bad for a starter fatty at a very budget price. Once i get my proper fatty ill hand this one down to someone wanting to try the fatty world.....

Meet Sir Rommel hahaha

That frame is screaming for a custom spray job ........

I saw these 2 beauties at the W2W this weekend

Two different frames...

Unless the insert creating a little triangle in front of the seat tube is to do with a different size...?

I rode with the Spez Fatbike at W2W with rigid fork, almost felt like it gets a bit bouncy while you ride.....

Het gister met Johan by KC gepraat en hy het vir my dieselfde gese, verskriklike pedal-bob van rondom 35km/h af.

What tyre pressure were you running? Sounds like it was too hard.
