Pieter "Supapiet" Du Preez...a C6 Quad completing the Ironman in Oz

Of anything in this world I haven't seen anything more inspiring than Pieter du Preez. In 2003 he was left quadriplegic in a cycling accident. He only has his head, shoulder, limited arm function and no hand or finger movement. I have heard that he has completed the 2013 event in 13hrs 20mins. Check out this link:

His brother was in school with me (matriculated in the same year). I visited Pieter a few times after his accident and his spirit never ceased to amaze me!

Wow… and here I was thinking I'd skip a run today because I don't really feel up for it. Going to set this guy's picture as my desktop for inspiration.

If I am not mistaken the one bike is set up for 'cycling' (simulating a pedalling motion with the arms) and the one for the 'running' part is set up differently (using both arms at the same time to 'crank', not pedal, the bike forward).
