Hi Hubbers

Novatec flow trail vs Dragons 29er wheels

What are you views on these wheels compared to Stanz Crest or arch and Easton ec90 and 70.

Not really want to spend more than 6k but should be Lighter than my syncross wheels

Which are Bang for your buck!

Thanks

A curve ball for you...

Velocity Blunt SL Pro wheelset for R4,500. 1,575g http://store.velocit...-build-wheelset

Alas only QR front and rear left.

PM me if you're keen.

I can vouch for the Blunt SL rims. Nice and wide, mine are built on Hope Pro II Evo hubs. The wider rims seem to give a bit more support and volume, especially if you are running wider tires, 2.2 upward.

Novatec flow trail R 4950 1700g

Easton EA 90 xc R7950 1697g

Easton EA70 xc R7500 1745g (imported exchange rate determined)

ZTR ARCH/hope R5499 1700g

Are these the average weights for 29 er wheels for the price?

  • 3 weeks later...

In the same spot.

WTB i19 - rims are a bit narrow for 'n paar vet tekke

AM classic - same price as crest/arch on hope combo

Crest/arch - too commercial and those hubs just scream "I like to be heard"

Velocity - didn't know about them Eldron. Any reviews?

Novatec - good value but how are those hubs?

Easton EA70XC - pretty bling but not sure about reliability...?

Input please guys!
