I have it on VERY good authority that the cANCer rally organized by the city for Freedom Day was only planned just over a week ago but the race was date was set a year back! They were given the option to move the date of the race or cancel it! And yes, there will be broken bottles and trash everywhere, so make sure you bring extra tubes and bombs. I live in Durban and I have to pull out because we going away and I was pushing my luck with the family for the Sunday race.. Feel for the organisers... Durban is punted as the sporting capital of the country, well so the council like to always say.... How about now chasing these events away and embracing them.
