Wannabe Posted January 24, 2014 Share Spend on average between R500.00 to R1000.00 pm on my cycling (includes everything, tubes when needed / tyres when needed, Gi32 when needed, race entry, etc) So some months it is less, other months it is more.Once a year I make all the big purchaes and do the major servicing of my bikes. This past December cost me around 6K, but included a Carbon Wheelset.Monthly insurance on my two bikes, Garmin and other kit is R340.00. Slowone Posted January 24, 2014 Share Stopped counting about 3 months after i started cycling (that was 4 years ago). since then both my boys started cycling.....So excluding event entries and accomodation and transport i have spent on the following in the last 4 years. 3 Road bikesTrack bike2 mountain bikesConvertion of hybrid to single speed Taking the cost above into account .... average R1250.00 Oh yes ..... that excluded new wheels,tyres,tubes,and kit...... add another R300.00 per month so.... now lets see how many pairs of shoes my wife bought over the same period .......
