Slanghoek Louis Posted January 26, 2014 Share I took my development farm worker mtb team to Eselfontein outside Ceres, this morning as some of them missed last years event. Lize and I and 8 guys. After the first 15km back at the farm house one guy, JB picked up a flat. He had to stay behind because he didn't had a spare tube and the other guys bikes ran with shrader valves. We then were gone for a while doing "deadman walking". Deon came out on our return to the farm and chatted a bit. Then we were off again to do the "Blair witch forrest" again. Deon Malherbe gave the guy JB, left by us at the farm a full suspension 26" mtb to join us on our last round and 2 tubes to repair his bike once home. Then his jump on his scrambler and guided JB to where he could see us and follow towards us. He (JB) went really hard down the hill and caugt some of the guys in the forrest. I would like to take time and thank Deon Malherbe owner of Eselfontein for this great gesture. Thank you very much Deon from all of us. Eddy Gordo, timbrink, (Deon) and 2 others

Surv0MTB Posted January 26, 2014 Share Love the place, had to bail after the nightride during the festival with a wrist extension sprain and never got to enjoy the trails the next day. Will be back soon!
Loupie Posted January 26, 2014 Share Two years ago at the eselfontein festival, one of my mates forgot his helmet at home in dbnville. We asked around if someone could help and Deon gave his helmet to my mate for the ride! Great guy!
