Greeting Campagnolians,

I have lost the up shift return spring in my rear shifter  :([/size]

It is a Record-Ergopower 10-speed shifter.

Will i need to import a rebuild kit or is this something that a bike shop could service for me?

Any advise would be most appreciated.

Just wondering, is this where or the Specialized haters hang out? Or am I looking for the Cannondale/Momsen thread?

If it is the "old" 10sp shifters, it is a little spring that wares out.  You can easily replace it.

The new 11sp not so serviceable in South Africa.  They replace the body.  Last cost I had was around R1000 for a new body.  (couple of years ago)

Agreed.

SRAM Red on one bike, Campag SR on other, campag def smoother, even though its taking some getting used to the different shifting mechanism.

There's no better shifting than Campagnolo.

Will never change from Campag!

Had my 11 speed shifter serviced / spring replaced a couple of months ago. Can't remember the exact cost, but was around R200
