jkoorts Posted February 11, 2014 Share Sorry, I was wrong, B Started 6:32 last year. Also we do not know the size of the groups this year, they all may be smaller at the front of the field. If the first 8 bunches only have 120 riders each, then not so bad. How can one find out if this is so?

andydude Posted February 11, 2014 Share That is crazy! They want to put ladies, sub vets, vets and masters together. What will happen when all 4 categories start to sprint to the finish!!! What is wrong with CSA? Why can't they sort the seeding properly? We can't let the amateur organise it? I suggest that they do it:6:15 Elite6:16 Ladies6:20 Tandem6:21 Sub Vets6:24 Vets & Masters'6:30 A6:32 B Either you or I misunderstood the email. According to me they're not saying ladies, sub vets, vets and masters will start together. That is just the sequence, therefore probably % and VA together, etc. I assume based on the fact that for the next "group" they show B to J and I'm sure B to J aren't starting in one large group. Start Group SequenceThe start group sequence will be as follows:$ - Top seeded Elite, Under 23 and Juniors# - Racing Tandems%, VA, VB, VM and A - Elite Ladies, Racing Veteran Men and Top Seeded RidersB to J - Seeded Edit: I see Gary posted that those four categories actually start at the same time so I was wrong! I don't mind the VB and VM, but the ladies are quite another thing. No offense. And skistar, you are probably right, smaller groups which causes people to be seeded further back. MooToo Posted February 11, 2014 Share Stupid retards put in penalties for races that they use that is more than a year old where there are countless races that I did recently that they discard A lot can happen in a year, or even 3 months of fitness. I actually think that the new seeding rules benefit all of us, as the bunches are evenally matched. You wont see someone in the Elite bunch getting dropped on hospital hill unless its a mechanical. 'Dale Posted February 11, 2014 Share This event is such a celebration of cycling. For one day in the gorgeous Mother City, cyclists can own this world-class stunner of a course. I treat it as such. I reckon this new seeding system is worth a try.I'm all for innovation. Reduce subscription, someone mentioned. No way. Loss of revenue is too big of an issue.
