RoboLuke Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 The 50 is tougher than one you think....its flat and very fast the first 30 km. Then the grassy windy single track start and if you have burned all your matches at this point you are gonna have a poor last 10 km. I think a sub 3 hours is very reasonable if you are a dedicated week-end warrior doing 100 km a week, I dont know about a 2h30.  It not technical, there are a few WTF black pieces but its short - just push... And of course - its nice and green and fantastically pretty pass the dams.

The traffic back up can be a total nightmare going into the farm.Find a spot to park, then go get a coffee and a bacon and egg roll.Its a cool race and some of the new sections on the black route are tricky, don't be fooled.Get a good spot in the start chute and you will be fine.If its your first time there it wont be your last
