Racing snakes? Welcome back

He was in AL. Happened at the back where the cars were parked. Just weird. I shouted at him to stop, because the other guy seemed out of his depth and didn't look like he was looking for trouble, then he shouted and swore at me and that he's coming to beat me up next.

Twombles and TALUS, I think I rode the last 50km with you guys. Well, almost. I had to stop at 103km to fix a mechanical issue on my bike (due to my own poor workmanship. )

TALUS: Do you ride for Jacaranda? If yes, I have a question. Why do you guys ride with cable ties sticking up from your helmets?

What kit did you ride in? I was in a white shirt, no branding, on a Bianchi.

Nice to be back on the road bike.

Anybody saw the aggressive guy in AL after the race. Was swearing at another guy and even stopped to klap him. Too much testosterone with his Kellog's? Thought we cycled for fun.

Eish, the AL bunch was very well behaved during the race. Did not see the incident, but not good for cycling.

Nice ride Rasta, 6th and that after our break away of ± 12 km!!

Thanks

Just needed 3 more hubebrs to join the breakaway and we would have holded it. but 3 was just to little with hat wind.

If we had the 8 guys that ran back to al, we also would have lasted.

So we didn't meet Liu mum Bai, and he was also in the bunch. You msut come say high next time

I'm talking about afterwards, in the middle/parking area. I didn't race AL so I'm sure the racing was fine.

So what was your "Dis Mos Mielies" time?!

Was slow yesterday, you'll have to check on that other system we use ^_^

Saw that chop from AL just after I saw you, it continued all the way down the road. Didn't see the conclusion.

I was riding in Cresta Wheelers kit (white, with pink and yellow stripes, Linden Cycles on the back). Black BMC.

Saw someone with a white atomic shirt, and a beard. Is that you?

Looks Like THEHUBSA guys not doing to badly. Got 5th in A after I first was dropped on descent at Hekpoort while avaiding waterbottles. Worked with a group to get back. Also tried a break or two in last 15 km but nothing worked as the guys following me would not roll through to work together.

But good result for me. Had a bnice bunch.

what bike and kit did you wear?

i assume you were part of the 8 man group that formed just after hekpoort descent to catch the A group again.

I was in the northcliff kit, with the green evad.

Just to say underachiever came in at 4th if I remember correctly.

So that is at least 3 hubbers in top 10 :)

Yep, HUB got 4th, 5th and 6th and perhaps even move. Was good to meet Cheese in the parking area after the race!

Well done hubbers! Who knows, maybe you can form a little informal team and actually talk a bit of tactics before the race.

It would be great to know who the marshalls with each group is/ was. Maybe publish it or wear your name somewhere. I like to chat with the marshall afterwards to show appreciation. When the guys are away from their bikes - it can be difficult to know who is who. I found our (B) marshall easy enough today though... :)

I Marshalled the AL group, Silver Motorcycle, Yellow headlight Protector
