Thanks for ride guys, Sat was fun!!

I'm looking for the go pro footage of my crash on sp1 A line, where I washed out after the rocks? Can't remember the guy's name :|

Was good. Looking forward to next weekend, minus some spastic crashes.

Anybody know how [forgot his name] is doing after his prang off the dvd drop? +-11am. I felt the ground thump from that. Sounded sore.

That was an epic OTB, Roger had everything perfect but the lip flicked the back wheel and the whole alignment of the bike went wrong. Had a beer with him afterwards, the old bullet is tough as nails but his left had didn't look too good.

"STAGES FOR RACE #2:
As you know we are introducing the Special Stage idea. - a stage that we announce only on race day and comprising of a combination of other trails. For the first one we feel the need to let you know the SP as it's unusually thrilling and may warrant some practice. Race #2 is a Four stage enduro.
ST 1, SP65, ST 10, ST 4.
Happy practicing. "

SP65 is a combination of 6 and 5...unsure of exactly how it will run... but either way it will be AWESOME!

SP 65 is a tricky one. The transition from 6 to 5 isn't so lekker, well I can't ride it, so it's off the bike and a small run for me.

Also watch for the top wire on that fence.

We seeing what we can do to make the transition easier. For now treat it as an obstacle.

Hakahana Enduro 2016 Cup #2 Trails info: Just to give you all the heads up on our final prep this week:

1. We are 'sweeping' the tops of SP1, SP6 & SP5 - Removing as much of the top debris and loose pebble-sized rock as possible. This will make for a safer and better flowing trail. Not much we can do about some of the rocks in SP1's rock garden but are trying to fill a few of the real stoppers to make it more fun. We are also patching some of the lower parts of SP1.

2. The SP6-SP5 transition is tricky. We trying an option but treat this as an uncomfortable obstacle for now. The combination is a wicked ride.....

3. Sp10 jump hasn't yet been amended for race-pace yet, so we are considering taping it off for the race. Comments? SP10 will also have a slightly different finish otherwise running smooth.

5. SP4 running great. All we are doing is re-shaping the landing below first pallet drop to get a better flow out.

6. We have built toilets, urinals and will have a hot shower ready for the weekend. Camping just became more atrtractive at Hakahana.

**** Start reminding yourself to TAG at Start and End of your runs!!   and PLEASE PRE-ENTER!!!

1. Hopefully I can stay on the bike then  :whistling:

2. A berm would be epic, but just cleaning the shale and probably a few arrows/caution/slow down signs will be fine for those doing it a 1st time. :excl:  :excl:

3. Agreed, the lip is too big for a step down gap of that size. At race pace, guys will likely nose dive to flat.

4.

5.

I got it on video, will see if i can pop it on the hakahana fb page, if Roger doesnt mind.

It was a NASTY OTB, but he took it like a champ!
