BMXER Posted October 9, 2014 Share I am also 8:14.. We did not do any races with timing chips or that counted for seeding.. But we are 4 guys from our area.. hoping for 2:50 +-A 2:50 ride with a 8:14 start will need a small miracle. Traffic may provide your nemesis. pe3nguin Posted October 9, 2014 Share how does fox hill compare to the pinetown hill (aquelle tour of Durban ride)?? Fox is longer, but id say the Tour Durban climb is more unforgiving in a fast bunch.
BMXER Posted October 9, 2014 Share The freeway?N2 onto N3, take the Pmb Boshof street offramp. Suggest been dropped on the area of Buildit or the shell station both close to Pietermaritz street for a short ride to the start from the rear of the bunches. (Boshof Street) is the New England off ramp, the first one after the main PMB feed off.
Spoke101 Posted October 9, 2014 Share how does fox hill compare to the pinetown hill (aquelle tour of Durban ride)??As a whole the climb is longer but broken up in to 4 actual climbs, and in my opinion is easier.in this order.Long gradual climb - Short flat - Short down - Medium gradual climb - Short flat - Steep short kick climb - Short down - Steep short kick climb - Short drag climb.
