How are those running shoes sized, true to size or big/small fit?

keen to get a pair but had a sizing mess up on a recent online order and now hesitant to order shoes online.

Seems this is my problem too...although the size corresponds to the sizing charts and measurement, I'm not too sure...feels a bit tight and my left toe, seems far too close to the front than what I'm used to...

From my experience with running shoes one size bigger than your standard shoe gives ample room for your foot to shift a bit and not have your toes slamming into the front.

In terms of these vivobarefoot shoes how should they fit, also one size up from your normal shoe size or same size because they are barefoot shoes?

Same here ito size - and it was not even my decision. I said to the guy I usually wear a 43, he came out with 44's in two shoes - and it just worked. But I'm the noob here, my trail shoes only have about 30 or so k's on them!  Afterwards heard lots about buying trail shoes one size up if you like your toenails.

I always start off with the same size as i normally wear, just check if its comfy (this might require sizing up between brands). Too much room in the shoe (specifically on trail) could result in lateral play and blisters

Having recently got into trail running, I've constantly got blisters on ends of my 2 long toes. Any advice, or just keep going and work on the calluses?

Apparently there is now a product that you pull over your toes, made of silicone or something that helps. however I do not know any details.

Google "toon-FL"

The sizing is spot on with my adidas, they are really lekker shoes. I wish I need another pair already. Chat to Stuart he gave me spot on advice wrt sizing. Edited by Pieter1

Anyone have these vivobarefoot shoes that can confirm how they must fit, how they do fit?

If you are f

going to run with those your style and strike will change, thus they need to sit tight enough not to hurt and loose enough not to chafe.

If you are going to get those invest in some Injinji socks as well .
