I ride with a RockShox Reba World Cup and I'm very happy with it , remote lock out and all. Bit pricey though.

At 1403 g The SID world cup is probably the way to go...

The Pace' date=' now being sold under DT Swiss' name is the lightest available, isn't it? It's a carbonfibre suspension fork. Very light, very expensive and apprantly needs regular and proper services. [/quote']

I was told a few weeks ago that DT has recalled the entire production run of '08 forks.....as in every single one?

One of our new Carbon Hartail BH's came with a Terralogic Fork from Fox' date=' and my word, it's the bomb. Don't think, just ride... perfct for the sort of tracks we ride on. Takes a bit of getting used to though... like not being able to load before a jump... almost had a big spill down the spruit when i first used it :)[/quote']

As of '08 Fox no longer makes the Terralogic. The technology belongs to Specialized and they didn't renew Fox's licence to use it as they are now making their own forks

Cannondale Headshok Carbon Lefty SL

But you'llneed a 1.5 headtube to fit it :)

There are aftermarket kits available that allow the spreading of the Lefty-disease to normal bikes

Last I saw Cannondale were using Fox forks on their bikes again. And Fox internals on their Lefty's?

They've also used Manitou internals. They do this simply because they can't make decent internals themselves

Actuially Cannondale make darn lovely internals. They're dead simple and easily tuned. But mechanics are a weird group of people. They look at it say:"yikes thats complicated"

Cannondale use internals from:

Magura

Rock Shox

Manitou

Fox

Cannondale

The reason is imply because there is a market for each and each company does have some lovely damping circuits for specific types of riding.

The New Lefty Carbon MAx uses a Rock shox adapted damping circuit.

why re-invent the wheel when there are companies that make components that work

I agree with you rod, definatley better than terralogic.

When it comes down to it though I would prefer a slightly heavier, Reba, fork that is going to give me no hassles opposed to some super light one, Spinner, that is going to need an overhaul every ten hours.

Best forks out there for the money is the Reba, light, plush and well priced
