Ja, must say I'd be very scared on that track on my 150mm bike. Then again, these guys have fitted nice fat 36 forks with 180mm travel and such like up front which probably helps a lot...

I am pretty sure some of those trail bikes got stashed at the back of the tent and some riders went looking for their big rigs after walking those rocks yesterday.....

I think it's pretty cool that these guys are even in the same ball park as the guys on full DH rigs. It shows just how strong AM (or enduro if you must) bikes have become and just how capable they are. That said I don't think they'll be up on the podium this year...

ja - I think their skill level is a big factor in the whole thing..if we tried that we would end up at the bottom in a heap of broken bones, broken frames and broken wheelsets.....

My DH bike has a Marzo 66 (180mm single crown) on it. I had a Boxxer on the bike but it had a lower A2C measurement, and didn't feel as bottomless as the 66. I would imagine that the modern 180mm forks feel just fine on the big stuff.

I don't think the forks are going to hold these guys back. The rear travel may not matter as much?
