F@#$ing cyclists!

Jules

Recommended Posts

So BG and I decided to scope out tomorrow's provincials course at Fountains today.

Was disgusted to find that the course was littered with empty goo sachets.

Here is a pic just of those that I picked up along the route and stuffed into my back pocket smiley11.gif smiley11.gif

More than 20 sachets! It's a frikkin nature reserve: how hard is it to put the empty sachet back in your pocket.

These nameless litterbugs will probably be the first to winge and complain if the powers that be ban cyclists from Fountains. And you could hardly blame them if they did.

Incidentally, it seems FIT's Super GOO is the most popular among cyclists (or at least cyclist litterbugs) followed closely by USN's Vooma. smiley36.gif

My personal favourite is the Esspresso Love. Found one of those.

Jules it should be clear that these okes don't care about mountainbike or nature but just about their own inflated egos and ..... words elude me . They a bunch of @#@# with no self respect . We don't need the likes of them in "our" domain . I have just compeleted the "adventure" Sani2C race and we as a whole got colpimented because the track was sooo clean after we have gone though there . I hope we get the same report from the race snakes race ! If these litter bugs don't get removed from our community now they will be the cause of our downfalling !

Are you talking about "f*&king cyclists" or are you talking about "f*&king litterbugs"?  Does being a cyclist automatically mean you are a litterbug??

Bruce I think you are missing the point . How many other people have you seen walikng aroung with Vooma in their back pockets ? . You may see a Simba packet next to the road and blame it on eveybody or anybody , but a GOO/Vooma packet point in one direction .

No I'm not, "f*&king cyclists" is a gross generalisation.  Jules is a cyclist, he is not a litterbug (clearly).

Well done in reporting this and cleaning up at the same time, Jules. Not many of us would have done it, although I never litter myself. Thank you for giving such a good example. Clap

I could never understand why people can't stick their frikkin litter in their back pocket instead of just dumping it on the floor!!!

The same happens in a race and I am going to kick someone off their bike when I see it happen!!

Have to say that the guys at Sani2C adventure were very good about not littering.

D-R: Saw you around a few times, but wasn't really up for conversation.  Had to find a replacement frame and mend what is now a very septic wound after my frame broke in the slippery forest on Day 2.
