I think it would be a room designed around less riding in order to allow for more riding ..... that would be the practical room.

 

Now that is not what you were exactly asking.

 

problems he might face with a regular bedroom:

• getting out of bed, getting dressed and out the room without waking his better half on his way out for a morning ride
  
• an alarm that wakes him only and not his better half on his way out for a morning ride
  

Think along the lines of what would make his life easier and not just bike bling ..... a bedroom is a place to recharge.

so i think a nice spot in the bedroom to spend quality time with the kids.

 

again maybe a reading nook with some comfy seating arrangements

the reason why i posted this is so that I can draw inspiration from other cyclists, cause like most cyclists, we think alike. everyone struggles getting up in the morning, Jens does as well. My design will be based off of Jens' preferences but i will have to pitch idea's to him cause most clients don't know exactly what they want. Which is why we have designers in the world. Another part of my assignment is to design and make a custom piece of furniture for the space.
