LazyTrailRider Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I have to admit, I quite like the look of Kona's Process: http://www.konaworld.com/process_153.cfm Not enough to prefer it over a Pascoe though... Ultimately, if money is no object, I reckon the T275 wins.
LazyTrailRider Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Meh, I see now that the Konas aren't all that highly specced. Not a problem of course if you buy a frame only, but it hints at the level it's aimed at...

niterider Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 If it was my money I'd be looking at the Pascoe, or the new Devinci (the Troy looks awesome in the flesh), or one of these... deviate Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 and ive seen and heard of guys do more with a rocky mountain instinct than i would do with 160mm of anything! http://www.bikes.com/sites/default/files/styles/hero/public/hero/INSTINCT-999-MSL-Hero.jpg?itok=nlRRXjcQ and that fricken altitude, is just a brilliant bike! if i could afford one i would definately choose it above anything except the tracer t275 http://www.bikes.com/sites/default/files/styles/hero/public/hero/altitude_799-msl-H_0.jpg?itok=uCu7l1mf
deviate Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 and that awesome chipset thing where you can change the geometry! http://www.bikes.com/sites/default/files/styles/large/public/models/altitude_799-msl-M.jpg?itok=qQX4d-93
Pin-it Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I'm really loving my Yeti SB66! I've got the alu which is a bit on the heavy side but really not bad at all and the carbon version would sort that out! It loves going fast and come to life over the rough stuff, pedals like a dream with that switch back system. And did I mention the looks
remfactor Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 If you can get it here, I would go for the YT Capra. The top model (pro) sells for 3999 euros equipped with BOS suspensions. The Comp sells for 3499 euros with a Pike upfront and a Monarch plus at the back. As much as I am a fan of BOS suspensions (being french), I would go for the comp with Rock Shox because servicing BOS here in SA might be a bit of a problem....
