Im thinking pascoe for the old man ... and maybe a Scott genius for me?

 

Or i can organise a Bronson for the old man and do a custom build like i did for the missus

 

Then for me ... **** im useless ... i never know what i want

genius....... dunno.... scott....... service.... 3 months for a frame replacement.... i burnt my fingers! , theyre still sensitive when i here the name ssssscott..... :mellow: :blink:

If it was my money I'd be looking at the Pascoe, or the new Devinci (the Troy looks awesome in the flesh), or one of these...

and ive seen and heard of guys do more with a rocky mountain instinct than i would do with 160mm of anything!

and that fricken altitude, is just a brilliant bike! if i could afford one i would definately choose it above anything except the tracer t275

I'm really loving my Yeti SB66! I've got the alu which is a bit on the heavy side but really not bad at all and the carbon version would sort that out! It loves going fast and come to life over the rough stuff, pedals like a dream with that switch back system. And did I mention the looks ;) post-7826-0-36632500-1398014496_thumb.jpg

If you can get it here, I would go for the YT Capra. The top model (pro) sells for 3999 euros equipped with BOS suspensions. The Comp sells for 3499 euros with a Pike upfront and a Monarch plus at the back. As much as I am a fan of BOS suspensions (being french), I would go for the comp with Rock Shox because servicing BOS here in SA might be a bit of a problem....
