Oakley has really dropped the quality the last couple of years! I was a die hard Oakley fan but will not buy Oakleys again. Previous lens formed tiny bubbles after a year. Last pair did everything Oakley say to take care of it. Never put it on my head even use the expensive Oakley cleaning solutions. But still my plolarized lenses bubble again after a year. Poor poor quality!

My Oakley Antix started doing the same after 3 years. Was fortunate enough to be gifted a pair of Jawbones with photocromic lenses. Now just to get an extra pair of polarised lenses for the jawbones and it should keep me for a while. Buy yeah are far from the quality sunglasses they were a few years ago.

I have way too many pairs of Radars and have never had a problem with them, although I have seen friends lenses that have peeled.

Oakley remain the best looking glasses. Rudy's are hideous

I have been a fan of Oakley for many years and currently I have 5 Pairs of Oakley product but Lately I have found that the Quality of their products have been deteriorating.. My Oakley Bat wolfs lenses have started to develop "bubbles" under their lenses. My Glasses frame that I have had for just over 2 year just snapped on the bridge of the Frame. My Half Jacket lenses (Transition Lenses) have stated to get, what I can only describe as cracks, in the lenses.. On the other hand. My Polarised Radars are brilliant. My racing jacket are so indestructible. The consistency of the products are just not the same as what they used to be

I thought i was going bonkers, mine has done exactly the same thing, wonder if there is any chance of getting Luxotica or Oakley international to have a look and see if its a faultly coating?

Spent almost 90GBP in the Covent Gardens shop 2 weeks ago on new lenses for my Flak Jackets where i managed to scratch a lens.

Thank you all for your input on this subject. Great Response's.. To answer a few questions..

Yes, I have taken this up with Oakley.. My response was sorry for you on my Glasses Frame. Just paid R1500 for replacement lenses. No other choice. My response to my Batwolfs was that they out of Warranty.. I need to pay for the Lenses myself.

I have bought these glasses everywhere from Sunglass Hut (Batwolf R2800 because of the Polarized Lenses) & The Pro Shop (R2000)..

I have to be honest, I am feeling the same about Oakley.. Love them but hate them.. Kinda like my wife :)

I am now sorry for giving up my Rudi Projects.. Maybe, that is the way to go..

3 weeks ago my radar lock path lenses started bubbling and peeling off, this after purchasing them a year ago. I returned them.. Guys Oakley simply told me it's the way I changed the lenses over time that led to the peeling lens! Oakley simply wipes their behind off at you, the optician told me that their aftermarket service is so pathetic! You're merely a number with them! Last time I'll ever buy oakleys! I really expected more from them as I expected good returns after I invested do much into a pair of sunglasses! So there you have it folks..

Thats guy i walk my ass into there blackriver park head office and DEMAND SERVICE. I have gotten free lenses and frames from them. BUT make a scene and they are quick to help. funny i have never had any lens problems although i go through a lot of earsocks

My Polarised Monster Dogs started to peel a few months ago. Phoned Oakley and they said I should send them down and they would replace the lenses at a cost of around R1500! No warranty claim unfortunately as they are a few years old. Bought a replacement set off ebay but they were shyte. Nice sunnies but starting to fall out of my reach unfortunately. I think I'll be looking elsewhere for my next pair and by that I don't mean the robots....
