Has any of you riding a TB tried to flip the rear shock up side down?

My reason for asking ..., - I have difficulty (even with a side loading bottle cage) to get my water bottle in/out, this being an action taken with caution. I believe it would be easier with more space if the shock is other way round.

i would like to hear from fellow Tallboy riders ...

edit - hope my post is not seen as a hijack of this thread, - thought it would be more direct to TB owners. If necessary I can ask the mods to move this?

I have done it and it's been perfect for a few years. Just flip the bike up on the front wheel every now and then to make sure the foam ring get lubed up or you could practice you high speed endo's :whistling:

Haha! Well spotted!

The Orange & blue gave it away. How does the 3 compare to the 2? Sadly I had to sell my 2 to buy the Hightower. But was worth it every day of the week. In fact I ride my plus wheels waaayyyy more than my 9r's. It does become a bit heavy over distance and would love to have both ....can't think of 2 more perfect bikes ????

I only got the new TB a few days go so will give it a first ride tomorrow morning. Will give you a report back. :D But I think it's gonna feel like a "junior" Hightower. Definitely much more trail bike than the old TB, having a much slacker HA than before.

Junior Hightower with tb pedal efficiency. Might have to sell an eye or something ????

So gave the TB3 her maiden trip over the weekend. Awesome trail bike. It definitely climbs a bit worst than the TB2 but it decends 25% better due to the slacker HA. It really feels like a mini Hightower, just a bit more playful/nippy. The only thing I would change on the bike is replacing my old Reba with a Pike. The Reba just can't keep up with what the frame is capable of.

Not trying to be smart or anything but '25%' is that by time or gut feel?

How does it climb all round compared to the HT ? Big difference?
