How does it climb all round compared to the HT ? Big difference?

I would say it's somewhere in the middle between TB2 and HT. The 68 degree vs 67 degree HA you definitely feel on steep climbs. HT more "sluggish". But ja, horses for courses, I guess.

You have 2 awesome bikes. As similar as they are different and can cover all and every type of riding. Perfect ???? Enjoy

Thx boet. Ja it's funny, they are similar but also not. For the gnarly rocky rooty trails (e.g. Jonkershoek) the HT is the go to bike and for the less techy stuff/more flowy riding it will be the TB. Happy with the combo. But I must admit, if I had to choose only one, it would be hellova difficult to choose.

yea I'm sure it would be a hard choice. If the tb has got more trail worthy than before and with its slacker ha( was my only gripe on tb2 ) it must be pretty bloody close to the one bike...especially if you put a 130 fork on it . Luckily you don't have choose which is awesome . Makes me wonder though if I should of gone tb not ht.

Unfortunately we don't have the awesome fairest cape trails you guys are blessed with and to be honest tb would handle everything we have up here. But I just love the Hightower even if I suffer on the long hauls . mmmmmm ????

Decided to give the Hightower some fresh squish at the back. First impressions of the DPX2 is very good. Great small bump compliance and very plush. Easy to get full use of the travel. Will still tinker a little bit with sag and rebound though.

Has anyone spent their hard earned cash on a new Blur ?

Since this brand has moved to the lab I haven’t seen many new bikes or come to think about it I haven’t even seen one .

eagle ?

Yes bike was equipped with Sram Eagle

Nothing against Sram….

Tested it on some short steep climbs (+20%) and long steep climbs (13%) and my knee's did not cope well... they were sore for weeks, not the Blurs fault.

just would prefer a 2x instead of 1 x

Pity they are like hens teeth
