Not sure what the issue with the parking and loos, other than the gentle(not so)man who used the loo before me and pissed all over the toilet seat, big tjop you

I had the same as you, where some chop pissed on the seat.

My issue was more the parking, flippen distance and a half to the start and loo`s....

YES It WAS ME !!!   ... coughing and throwing up the last 50 kms ... last 20 kms took me 90 mins.

I could keep nothing down, not even plain water . Almost passed out at Tarlton so was literally nursing myself home . 10 stops later .... not a good memory for me . Lotsa guys had a good day out there in spite of the wind (KUDOS !).

Also had unpleasant stomach distress in the last quarter, but nothing like what you experienced. Kudos for finishing!

okay so i was too wasted to fetch my medal ... and I really want one . Is this possible at all ?

Lets hope the race organizers are watching. It also peeved me having to ride an extra 2km when I was bonked and feeling ill!

Yeah. I missed out on mine last year and they were happy to help, as long as you collected in PTA.

The finish line distance from everything else was a joke. Really pissed me off that I had like 2kms more of riding before I could get a drink. Just feel some additional thinking was required with that one.

My first ride bike after 3 back procedures this year! Started dl and got into a rad group with a good bunch of guys! Tried to push up the last 10km to win the group but cramped!! Was hard but im pleased with myself! 3 14! Not bad for a guy whos staple diet is scotch, red whine and black label! HA I really enjoyed the race! Thanks!!!! Next race I plan on training!

I also hope the organizers are watching this and hopefully keep note....!!!!

One of the most expensive race days and as you guys mentioned a few times, the loo's were terrible.

The marshaling on route was almost non existent, so bad that even team Bonitas, Abantu and others were also complaining. So bad that at some point there was no indication of which road to take??? wtf

No marshal bikes (something one would expect for such an expensive event)

No paint markings or any indication for dangerous road surface

This event was badly put together.

Agreed. The race was a dissapointment...seems like they tried to invest the bare minimum while charging the maximum...

Perhaps less climbing vs. earlier years, but this race was still tough!! Found the marshalling to be in line with other races - perhaps our bunch was just lucky? Happy with how my race went, will be back next year.

results are up already

Was not an easy route at all

so many attacks in AL took all my matches

Well done to the break that stayed away. Missed you guys completely

I am happy with a 7th place at 2:47 on a new bike. But I so wanted to compete in that sprint...

What bike were you on?

Also in AL, gees boys rode a great race! Proper lung buster trying to stay with them when the group split!

Well done

Man, that's not cool. Do you know what caused it? Food poisoning?

Kudos for finishing. If that was me, I would have waited for the sweeper vehicle..
