Beers will be provided by the kind folk at CBC. TokaiMTB Posted June 27, 2014 Share Just a reminder about tomorrows DH build day. 15 tonnes of laterite has been delivered to Tokai, a lot of rain last night and sunny tomorrow ie. Perfect conditions for trail building! We'll be working on DH0 and DH 1. Meet at 9am at the gate. Make the berms better and smooth things out a bit without making it too smooth. Do yourselves a favor and go look at the road huck we built for Theo between DH2 and DH3. It was very much and afterthought and only took about 20 minutes to build. but good lord it's big. and there's ZERO margin for error with a very rough and difficult run in. Theo cased it by a full 2 bike lengths. And let's not forget he's the reigning WP champion. I'm gonna join the normal build day tho and work on the switchbacks. The ground was so amazing to work with today. Oh. Thanks to Vince for sponsoring beers and Trail & tar for giving us a crate of cokes.
