The World's Fastest Indian (2005) 8/10.

"For 25 years in Invercargill at the south end of New Zealand, Burt Munro (1899-1978) has been working on increasing the speed of his motorcycle, a 1920 Indian. He dreams of taking it to the Bonneville Salt Flats to see how fast it will go..."

I loved this movie. Sir Anthony Hopkins is superb, as always, and the story is quite simply incredible, and fascinating to watch.

YESSS!!! was amazing. And to think it's a true story. Forging his own motor... brilliant.

my daughter and I have been going through major series as well as  the IMDB Top 250. On Friday night we watched Die Hard. She spent the rest of the weekend walking around going "yippee kayee mother FFffffffff.....ha ha ha ha"

needless to say die hard with a vengeance is now cued up for next weekend (we gonna skip the stupid airport one....although its might be worth it just for the airplane explosion)

My OH and I have been being watching the first series of 24 cos she has never seen it. She is hopelessly involved - and I have mostly forgotten what happened so it has been fun. And Jack is now a professional cyclist. Crazy.
