The Mummy (2017) 5/10. Completely mediocre and utterly forgettable.

Figured as much. Apparently just another movie that exist for the sole purpose of setting up a franchise.

No, it's a reboot. They want to create a shared universe called the Dark Universe, like Marvel and DC, with the Mummy, Dracula, Frankenstein, etc.

Going in Style (2017) 6/10.

Great actors, predictable story, underwhelming director. Perfect for a Sunday afternoon, because you can fall asleep watching it without a worry since you won't care about missing anything.

What did you guys think of War for the Planet of the Apes? - I see the critics rave about it, for me it was disappointing, way too many plot holes, daft humans and convenient plot devices (what's the word again - deus ex machina)

Want to hit a movie night with the wife... we missed Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and as we're both a bit lost... Is there anything worth watching on the Cinema at the moment? Really out of the loop and dread getting stuck watching another special effects orgy with the story line of my 2yr olds "Spot books"

If you haven't seen Wonder Woman yet I highly recommend it. Yes, there are quite a few special effects but it's also a damn good movie with a decent story.

Agree, probably the best of the lot at the moment. Heard Dunkirk is also good but that would also depend on Andrew's wife, does not seem to be a standard date movie  ^_^
