I think I'll be visiting Exclus1ve Books then :thumbup:

They have a good selection of superhero books in the Rosebank branch.

But, closer to you, I like Adams in Musgrave. The ladies there are helpful and knowledgeable about their stock.

Bond sure is a lucky fella...

The ever beautiful Monica Bellucci

Wouldn't mind aging like she has, at 51 the oldest bond "girl "

Watched Spectre last night - thought she would have had a bigger role given all the fanfare!

Not a bad movie but was a bit disappointed tbh, as if the movie spent too much time paying homage to earlier Bond movies instead of telling it's own story.

And seems Christop Waltz's will now forever be typecasted in the Hans Landa type role (from Inglorious Bastards).

Looking forward to Star Wars (although there is simply no way that movie can live up to all the hype - just no Jar Jar Binks please!)

I dunno, man.

It feels like the entire plot has been spoiled by the trailer.

First act: Sets up Supes and Batman's conflict and introduces WW and Lex Luthor;

Second act: Supes and Batman's conflict turns into a battle royale - Luthor disappointed they didn't off each other, so he creates Doomsday using Zod's corpse;

Third act: Supes, Batman and WW team up to take down Doomsday and set up the Trinity for Justice League.

All long the way characters such as Aquaman, Robin, Joker, Flash, Cyborg, and so on will be cameoed or alluded to.

Still going to see it though.

Agreed, but we always knew that was going to happen, right?

LOL.

Still. Super mega excited to see it. And IMO, whatsisface is the best Superman to date. Was also brilliant in Man from UNCLE

I watched The Man from UNCLE the other night and enjoyed the hell out of it.

Well acted, well directed, fun spy comedy/thriller.

Cavill would make a proper "classic" James Bond.

When I was a kid, I used to tell people that David McCallum, who played the Russian baddie on the telly show, was actually my uncle.

He wasn't, of course... :blush:

Also agree, very underrated movie - enjoyed it more than Spectre

That last line could spark many straw polls...quick one for Tuesday: who was the best Bond?

Personally I'd say Daniel Craig, simply because this new 'gritty' style is more in line with what an intelligence officer (let's not get into the debate that he is not a spy, or the one that he is officially the worst intelligence officer ever since everybody knows who he is and what he does) would be like.

I've started watching the whole franchise from Dr No, man some of them are cheesy.
