Pressures are not too high...

when I first tried these tyres 2 years ago I rode the Dischem ride for sight at 3,2 bar and whatever other tar rides as well at that pressure.

Im not a huge fan of them but in saying that I will give them a go if I can get my hands on the proper tubeless ready ones that look like this.

I've got a set for you, they're attached to a bike though, sold as a unit <_<

Not need for concern. Just a small air bubble on the outer layer of rubber

I've had the same, on the same set of tyres

Just stick a needle into it and deflate that section, you'll be fine again. Mine still running 100%

Agree, just had one last week. One prick and its gone. :w00t: :w00t:

Happened to me and a friend. Think it was a bit of a Stan's and Maxxis issue, but I thought Stan's sorted out the formula of the mix. Not your fault, it has happened to a few people. Search the Internet for "Stan's and Maxxis tires", and your picture will pop up frequently. Pop it with a needle and hope for the best, otherwise buy a new one.

WRT the tire pressure, it is a bit high, no idea how you have any grip going around a corner. I run about 1.3-1.6 bar and it's only that high because I weigh 95kg.

Go to the first picture and scroll up and down using your mouse's roller. Quite a freaky effect.

= sore finger and a headache

.. on to the topic, maybe mixed tyre sealant stuff, Joe's and stans?

Whats the nonsense? I run UNDER 1.2 front and rear....

Yes, but you push you bike most of the time. :w00t:

I'm around 1.8 bars in front, and closer to 2 bars in the rear for me..

Nice Rim Chukky. Carbon 29er? what brand is it? weight?

It has NOTHING to do with your pressure. You find it happening on the sidewall of cars as well. What happens is you have an impact and the layer of the inside of the tyre breaks. The air then gets between the two layers (trapped) and because you now only have one layer, the rubber bubbles as it is not strong enough at that point. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks guys! This helps a lot. I will take all the replies under advisement. I will also try lowering my tire pressure. I have to concede that it is to high..
