Something I noticed this past week.

Going from GP4000s to Gators, the bike was more "sticky" to the rollers. I had to put down more watts to maintain a certain speed. Going back GP4000s there was a very distinct difference in rolling resistance. Also the Gators were a lot heavier as expected.

As far as I can remember the Gatorskins are about 100g heavier than the GP's. They definitely have a much higher rolling resistance.

Have you tried Vitoria Rubino pro 3's? Not to heavy, rolls well and gives good milage. You can even run them tubeless. I have been running them tubeless for +- 3000 km up to now with no problems.
