GoLefty!! Posted March 9, 2015 Share Isn't it obvious? The faster ladies had the benefit of drafting with stronger males which the pro ladies didn't have. Nothing unfair about them not getting recognition or they were on tandems
Chris Willemse Posted March 9, 2015 Share One of our riders had his black kask mojito helmet stolen in Sunday. Any chance on the expo special on the helmet? Or just any stock left? No problem. Let him contact me on cwcycles@telkomsa.net and I will sort him out.
Rockspider99 Posted March 9, 2015 Share A strap broke and my Bike flew of the back on the N7, Scott Spark 920 totaled, it had almost 500kms on, Needles to say, BnB racks, look in your inbox for a mail regarding your straps, Thanks to the guys who stopped and got the bike out of the road, I did not get your names, but thanks, I was to shocked and disappointed to notice anything but my beauty in pieces, what a Sunday, me sitting in my Baggies and race number watching the race on TVNooit! GLuvsMtb Posted March 9, 2015 Share I have to agree. Anyway what does it mean? If they mean I need to hold their line they need to be in front of me, otherwise I can't see them. If they are behind me they can see what my line is. It is MY LINE after all. You don't here these comments in the racing bunches and they are all over the road all the time. No one cares, they just know where everyone is and work with what they have. The problem comes when they are behind you, you go wide and cut in on the corner while they see a gap that soon closes. The logical thing to do would be to simply remain behind me and take advantage of a tandem kicking out of the corner at speed for a nice slipstream. Hearing the shrieks of a lady rider followed by the sound of a wheel locking up is never pleasant. The swearing at me and my partner afterwards was also VNSL 18. Fortunately we all stayed on our bikes.

On holding the racing line: 1) rider/car/motorcycle in front determines the racing line.2) it is up to the rider /car /motorcycle behind to keep clear3) "hold your line" only applies to the weaver bird next to you who keeps trying to jam your fingers against his brake levers. It is worth-while investing in a proper Thule platform rack that clamps on both the top tube and fastens at both wheels to the rack. What did the insurance say? Shebeen Posted March 9, 2015 Share It takes determination and a whole lot of hard work, not to mention s suitcase of courage, to pin on a number in the category of Racing Women.Finishing time is not the outcome sought at all; finishing position is all that counts. Being swept along by the bunch dynamics of male riders is incomparable to the above.ja, I thought that was obvious when I posted the link...but clearly it is not. They get bragging rights, but that is all.
