I'm riding for Sabrina Love Foundation. Will I get notified by the organisation or by Sabrina Love?

Hope my start is not too late morning

usually between 8-9am some charity groups even start before 8.

around 8 would be perfect, I expect to finish in about 6hrs.

another beginners question, say my start is at 8, what time should I be near the start? half an hour early, one hour?

45 minutes to an hour before is good. It can be a bit confusing if you don't know the lay out and the place. There are thousands of people milling around from before 6am and there is a very good vibe and loud music with a party feeling. Rather get there too early and chat a bit and take everything in.

I 'm already excited now! I'll be so nervous, it'll be hard to sleep well the night before

Even after my 12th Cycle Tour i still cant sleep the night before, so its best to get good sleep the 2-3 nights before the event & maybe nap the Saturday afternoon a long one & dont spend hours & hours at the expo the saturday, you are just tiring out the legs.

The start has such an exciting vibe, I would suggest that your husband might want to join you and see you off at the start. Get a fresh croissant and some good coffee in a little thermos flask and have it there while taking in the sights, sounds and smells. Perhaps the place where you stay can help with the coffee and croissant. Buying something that early, with so many people around, is not an option in my opinion.

Edit: Take lots of pictures!
