Hey guys

Ive noticed my rotor is bent as its rubbing against my brake pads . Ive spaced the brake caliper so its clear , but still rubs slightly against the pad.

How do I change the rotor as there is rivets and no screws ? Do I have to replace the hub as well ?

Probably a centerlock rotor, if I remember correctly they use the same splined tool that you take cassettes off with, otherwise it will have 6 bolts attaching it to the hub. If it's not to badly out you can straighten the rotor.

Bend it straight with ur fingers taking care not to cut yourself on the sharp edges

Good luck with the fingers!! It's trong metal!!

Rtaher use the shifting spanner...it works relatively easy!

Easy to overdo things with shifting spanners....fingers less likely to overdo it....is why I use fingers. Both methods work. Be careful either way.

Good luck

Actually the force required to bend a rotor laterally is very little, the braking forces are applied vertically so the material strength is concentrated on the vertical plane.

Its very easy to correct a slight out of true with your fingers.

Take a marker and mark where the rubbing is on the rotor, identify which side is rubbing and apply force with your thumbs in the opposite direction in the area you marked. Make several small corrections rather than big ones and bobs your uncle.

I've used a small copper hammer very sucessfully, fingers also good, shifter I have also found is much force. The advice to use a marker works like a charm, I draw it all over the side that's rubbing, the high spots become clear immediately, clean properly with isopropyl alcohol afterwards.

Why not try and re-align the caliper?

if the disc itself is bent then this does not help. As soon as the disc run-out exceeds the spacing available between the retracted pads it will rub somewhere no matter how you align the caliper.
