Have you the finance or balls to open your own business, or are you just a know it all ?

You just showed your ignorance, you don't know me at all.

Just answer the question I asked you, no need to attack me.

Coppi, if you have such "balls" and the customer is just full of nonsense why don't you post your company name?

Because you are worried we wont be supporting your company, since we know what your attitude towards the customer is

I think you misunderstood me.

Probably.. I just take Sick! Bikes as an example though.... they had/have a SUPER active, very slick, well run social media account but their business was a toilet.

They have subsequently gone tits up with loads of customers' money, un tended to clients and lots of really p****d off people. But they had amazing socials...

Doing socials well, badly or not at all IMHO doesn't realistically reflect the actual state of the company.

But ja, I see your reply and still kind of feel that putting any store in smoke and mirrors is just asking for trouble.

Its only smoke and mirrors if what you put on social media is a lie.

Curious to your reason for baiting with no real outcome..... if you really want to know, then why not private message and discuss.... or do you live through social media, so that you can keyboard warrior someone and their business?

Am with Jewbacca on this one, also run a business since 1997, have no social media profile, do have a company website, it gets more than enough hits and inquiries and the business is built on reputation and service provided.

and you base my attitude towards customers on a post I made here??

You don't know a thing about me but you judge according to a little annoying rant I had.........I have been in business for 28 years and made some money, I think I will be fine..........

Yes I do.

Happy you made some money, but just imagine how much you could have made with a better attitude.

Yet it seems from many of the posts above from those who do run their own businesses disagree with you... as we do very well without a social media footprint.

How can you compare NOT having social media to having social media and doing it badly?

I am saying they can and will do well without social, but if you DO have social media and don't do that well it might affect the bussiness
