bmw1za Posted September 25, 2014 Share Hi there all, I know this is NOT a major issue... but I'm interested non the less. There are segment KOM's that are obviously achieved using motorised help... Is there a way to remove them ? not accusing anyone, but maybe just driving home and forgot to switch gps off ...

bmw1za Posted September 25, 2014 Share But i'm not the person who "cheated".. I just see the name and the record in the list .
Edge540 Posted September 25, 2014 Share Obviously Strava has it's weaknesses. I've seen segments down Tokai in excess of 200kph and not just 1 person but a whole bunch. Would really love to see that
DIPSLICK Posted September 25, 2014 Share I made a "KOM" yesterday, my riding partner punctured and I went back to get my van and forgot about my strava, got "KOM" on a popular little climb, a HUBBER helped me just to CROP out my moment of blondness
Bobbo_SA Posted September 25, 2014 Share But i'm not the person who "cheated".. I just see the name and the record in the list . Flagging the ride is for others that suspect the activity to be "cheated", this then gives the options allowing the rider to mark it as private, crop his / her ride, un-flag it (if it was legit) or request that the Strava support team investigate it. I would probably only use the last option if my ride was legit and someone flagged it multiple times.
blondeonabike Posted September 25, 2014 Share I object to the kom and qom crowns looking the same. We girls want bigger diamonds. That is all i have to say :-D

blondeonabike Posted September 25, 2014 Share Strava is not like facebook. There are no "friends", just "followers". Its dog eat dog. Hehe ;-)

MrFine Posted September 25, 2014 Share when I see abnormal KOM's I usually check the ride the particular individual has done. One only has to look into the history of the rider to see if the figures are genuine or just good old BS.I suppose after a while the novelty wears off of constantly chasing KOM'S .I use strava as my training aid and hook up with my buddy's .Keep it real.Bull **** baffles brains.
