I'm so bloody sour right now.

Drove all the way to Irene, all psyched up, took a leisurely pedal on the fields when all of a sudden I heard "tink". Bloody nipple on my back wheel broke, spoke completely loose. Back wheel was as crooked as Jacob Zuma.

So to those who finished, I hope it was fun!

Was a good race. Wind was just a bit strong haha.

At 6'4 my body is like a sail in the wind .I cursed it several times .Managed a sub 3h .Last event before W2w next weekend .Nice flowing route with no bottlenecks

Well done, those cross winds made it interesting. Saw a few riders in the marathon that came down hard. Speedy recovery to all injured.

Great race, nice flowing field, not so nice getting out of the college...could have had a few more beers!!

Again very nice event, my time was better with 25 minutes compared to last year and this time I barely managed a 20kph avg (stoked!). Still lots of work to do for a sub 3 hour ride (Marathon). Hammering the first 10km seems to have paid off, no choking on the dust and not too much overtaking. The wind was not fun on the drag back to the school.

Think I will just plan what happens after the event better to try and miss the worst of the traffic.

When I left there was still lots of (suffering) cyclists pedaling up the road to the school, hope they can put in some more training before their next event.

Awesome race the wind made even the flats a proper climb.

Well organised, will be doing more Nissan events for sure!

Great race. Third one and was great to have had no bottleneck HOWEVER the event organizers need to consider all aspects of the event including traffic control. Many off us spent longer trying to get out of the venue (off the field we were directed to rather than climbing pavements) than we spent racing. And this is the second event (Bundu Bash) I have attended where this has just spoilt what was otherwise great MTBing.

Wasn't a bad race, but it all turned to hell trying to get out of the school.  I parked (as instructed by guards) on the field above the Start/Finish.  Did a 3:30 from F and got in my car to leave around 11:15.

I got to the gate onto Nelmapius an hour and half later, only to find that it was the Protea Coin security guards forcing everyone to switch off their engine and re-start that caused the gridlock.  I mean FFS!  Put a sour note on the whole Nissan series for me, I missed my daughter's concert because of it.
