The net result is Contador now has 4 min on the 2nd placed man. Unless something odd happens I don't see anyone taking that time away from him. Lands now has the pressure that Aru has had the last weeks.

Wonder is they will enforce the rules regarding feeding within the last 20km, Laanda took on both a gel and bideon. Seeing as rules are rules and everyone should know them. 2 min penalty seem to be the order of the day at the Giro.

Sheesh. What a cracker of a stage.

I just can't seem to shake that nagging feeling though that something doesn't add up whenever the camera is on Landa.

The way he is riding - somehow it seems superhuman. Ever other rider shows quite clearly on their face that they have just ridden up 5 mountains but Landa looks like he just went for a cruise along the promenade.

I think it's 20 seconds for feeding

He looked very relieved collecting his pink jersey. As if it's all wrapped up. (Not that it was ever in doubt)

Race rules state that a rider may not take food or drinks in the final 10km of a mountaintop finish (20km for flat stages).

Landa took his at about 10.2 km to go - just inside the time limit.

Cav, I wasn't talking about Landa. I was talking about the Dutchie - Kruijswijk.Landa is from Spain.

I know, was just saying what I thought of Landa (just because)
