Buddy we are parking at the farm up the road from the Breedts sand-road start.

We are getting to the farm at 6:00 for 6:30 cause its roughly 4+ hrs for one lap including mini breedts..2 laps is basically the whole day gone.

Hijeck. After the breedts north south climb you pass what was the spaza on the right. The road curves left and you arrive at the T junction. Do you go left and then left again to that treetop tours venue(name escapes me? Then do you ride right back to the hekpoort road and repeat the loop?

what are people pakcing - I want to ride with everything I need and will just put stuff I may need in the box - more also to leave stuff I may not need

Starting at 18h00 means you will have all the kit you need in terms of jackets arm warmers and leg warmers etc with you - I just wonder once it gets warmer what do you do with all this stuff

Possibly leave it with a box at the checkpoints ?

Also any advise from previous races what is a must to take with - things people tend to forget/overlook but may really need

I have all the basics like a light a back up light and another back up light :) I think that should be enough lights ?

Gettting seriously close now

whats your take on that fork ?

Very good, and it will be fine for 36ONE! And it safe me weight for the flight

But serious, I ride it for more than a half year now.

You have to get the feeling of it at first because its both  world coming together.

Cant ride it like a rigid fork or as a normal fork.. its a "new" riding style..

Looking forward to ride it in Cape Town on the trails  :)

In cannot say I have seen that before. Does it have some sort of suspension?

400km?

(This is literally the reaction on my face!)

I'm starting to question the Fittrack training program when seeing what you guys are doing... Fittrack's longest ride was somewhere around 5 hours. There is a focus on frequency and intensity, but not even remotely those long sessions.

400km training ride? Respect...
